  Extracts from cordyceps sinensis, lucid ganoderma, mushroom, honey, etc.

(1) Cordyceps sinensis mainly contains such ingredients as cordycepin, cordycepic acid, adenosine, polysaccharide, etc.:

The cordyceps sinensis is a complex of bacterium and worm formed by the clavicipitaceae cordyceps fungus that parasites in the swift moth larva. In winter, the contaminated larva hides in the soil, and then the fungus stroma grows in the stoma in the head of the larva. Being like grass, it is called as worm grass. The growing condition of cordyceps sinensis is extremely strange, and only in the low-temperature and anoxic Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the interference of infectious microbes can be eliminated, and the authentic cordyceps sinensis can grow.

The cordyceps sinensis was firstly used as medicine in the Qing Dynasty. As described in New Compilation of Materia Medica, it can protect lung, tonify kidney, stop bleeding, and reduce phlegm.
